12 Random Facts About Me

I recently did a Q&A here on the blog and I had so many requests to do more so I thought I would do something similar but different. I thought I’d share some random facts about me! Let’s see how this goes…lol!

12 Random Facts About Me

I don’t eat red meat. It’s a taste thing. One day when I was a child I just didn’t like it anymore and from that day on I haven’t eaten meat. I’ve tried tasting it now just to see and now it makes my stomach upset so, no red meat for me.

I used to play the saxophone. And, I was actually pretty good. I made State every single year and I was in a jazz band. One time at band camp…..lol, JK!!

My favorite colors are red and yellow. There is something so happy about the color yellow and classic about the color red. Even though I prefer to be in neutrals if I am going to do a pop of color, these two are my favorites.

I always said I wanted two boys. It’s so crazy but I grew up saying I wanted to be a boy mom and then look what happens. I don’t how to explain it but I always wanted boys.

My dream job is to own and operate an animal rescue. This has been my dream for as long as I could remember. I hope to one day really make this a reality. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. I’d take them all in if I could

I currently have 5 pets. If you’ve been following me for a while you know this. I’ve got 4 dogs and a cat. It’s crazy and a lot but also the perfect amount. I couldn’t image life without any of them.

I love to ski. And, I am actually good at it. It’s one of my favorite things to do. It’s so calming and relaxing to me. I’ve always said one of my favorite places is Colorado!

I have a tattoo. Ugh, and I regret it. I got it when I was 18 for my birthday with some friends. It’s in the worst spot possible, my lower back and it’s the worst thing possible…..you guessed it….a butterfly. I honestly sometimes forget it’s even there since I can’t see it often, but when I catch a glimpse of it I cringe a little…lol.

I am claustrophobic. So, apparently you can develop this later in life, which I did. I honestly didn’t even know I had it. We were right in the middle of a mud run, you know one of those obstacles were you are running through mud and doing all these weird things to prove how strong you are. Well, I came up to a tunnel that I had to go through and I walked up to it like it was no big deal and then all of the sudden I started freaking out. It’s like my mind knew what I had to do but my body wasn’t capable. It’s been a thing ever since.

I don’t like to cook. There I said it. I don’t like to cook. I can put things together, I like quick and easy but cooking is just not my thing. Mason said he wants to be a chef and I hope he really does, because we need a chef in this family…lol.

I won my first luxury handbag. That is how my love for luxury started. I will be honest, I don’t even remember entering the contest. The brand was Italian, I don’t even remember. I was a freshmen in high school and this box just arrived at my house and I opened it up and it had this stunning Italian leather handbag. It said congratulations, you are the winner. Here is your bag. I was hooked from then on. I’d ask for bags for Christmas, birthday, whenever. Right away I noticed the quality in that bag and I just couldn’t go back.

I love camping. I know most people wouldn’t think I love to be in nature but I love it. Well, no tent, I do need my ac, toilet and shower but I love all the day stuff. The scary stories by the fire, the trail walks…I love it all. It’s one of my favorite vacations as a child and still something I enjoy with my family. We takes the whole family, including the dogs.

  2. Are you married? I’ve always wondered because your pictures never have a man in them but it looks like someone else is taking photos. Sorry if this was too personal but I was just curious.

  3. This was so interesting! I would have never thought you had a tattoo! Or that you used to play the sax! Or that you loved skiikg! Wow! ???? Thanks for sharing! ❤️

  4. Thank you for sharing. I love using my instant pot because it’s a dump and go when it comes to making dinners for the family. I alternate between that and the crockpot (I’m that kinda mom). I wish I had a passion for cooking but sadly I just don’t like it.

  5. I use to like to cook but now I don’t and I try to make as easy as possible. I would love to hear you play the sax on stories! Very interesting fun facts. Thanks for sharing.
