Friday 5 Favorites 10/23/2020

Houston top fashion blogger, LuxMommy, shares her weekly Friday 5 favorites

Where did this week go? Seriously? I was feeling awful all week to be honest, so it wasn’t a very productive week over here. My allergies have been acting a fool, but I think we are on the path to recovery. I started on some new(over the counter) allergy medicine. I am hoping that does that trick, otherwise I will have to go to the allergist. Do you have seasonal allergies? Are yours extra bad this year?

Body Cream

I have been on the hunt for a new body cream ever since I fell in love with the La Mer body cream a little over a year ago. It’s $300 y’all and I just knew I couldn’t get used to that. So, I been testing them like crazy. Well, guess what…I FOUND THE ONE!! I am not kidding when I say, this one is just as good IF NOT BETTER than the $300 La Mer body Cream. It feels amazing on the skin, not greasy. My skin feels hydrated, balanced and smells amazing. The scent is light which I prefer when it comes to a body cream. It’s seriously the best body cream I’ve every tried. You need it!!

Chanel Perfume

I shared a little more beauty than normal this week and I had a few of y’all ask about perfume. Specifically what my favorite perfume was. By far, hands down, this Chanel perfume is my #1 favorite. I’ve been wearing it for years. It’s classic, elegant and timeless. It’s also great for any age and can be worn day or night. It’s seriously heavenly.

Mock Turtleneck Sweater

I found one of my favorite sweaters for the Fall/Winter season on sale so I had to share. This one is so cozy and cute and 50% off. I have it in the ivory and love it. It’s super flattering but runs big. I went down to an x-small and I love the fit.

Mini Crock Pot

The cutest mini crock pot for UNDER $15. Whether you are looking for something small for crock port potpourri like me or you’re wanting something for meals for 1 or 2. This one is perfect. You also can’t beat that price. It takes up very little counter space and works great. It would be perfect for parties too, think cheese dip!!

Frizz Spray

I ran out of this de-frizz spray a while back and decided not to rebuy it, because I test out so many hair products. That was a big mistake. I decided to order it again and remembered why I like it so much. It’s the perfect finishing spray once you are finished styling to add a layer of protection against frizz. It doesn’t weight the hair down or make it greasy either.
