My Everyday Makeup Routine

I get asked all the time about my everyday makeup routine and what my favorites are, so I am finally putting this together. I thought I would go through a full face of favorites with y’all. Most of these products I’ve been using for years. Some are a little newer but all are must haves in my routine.

Nars Madly Blush

1 – This has been my go-to blush for as long as I can remember. It’s the perfect shade for everyday or can be layered for a more glam look. It’s my all time favorite blush. So, yes it’s a major must for me.

Mac Eyeshadows

2 – I recently purchased several eyeshadow palette and there are two that I love but this trio of shades will always be a go to for me. I use wood winked, wedge and rice paper for the perfect everyday eye look.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Powder

3 – When it comes to powders my skin can be pretty particular and this one is AMAZING!! I use it to set my foundation and it’s perfect. Not drying or cakey at all. I don’t get that tight feeling which is a must for me and I can even set under my eyes with it. I’ve never been able to set my eyes with a powder and not feel dry after. This is a great powder and if you are looking for one you have to try this one.

Dior Airflash Foundation

4 – This is one of my favorite foundations ever. It’s lightweight but buildable and gives an airbrushed finished which I love. It’s great for everyday. Yes, it’s a little on the pricey side but one bottle lasts a long time and a little goes a long way.

Hourglass Ambient Palette

5 – I get asked all the time how I get that JLo glow and this is it. I love to use this as my highlighter instead of an all over powder for a subtle highlight. It gives the perfect amount of light to the face without feeling overwhelming. If highlights are not your thing but you want a glow give this a try.

Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder

6 – This has been my go to contour since I started contouring. It’s the perfect shade to get that “natural” contour without the warmth. They have a lighter shade as well but this one is a great universal shade for light to tan complexions.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip

7 – Pillow talk is where it’s at y’all. This lipliner is sooooo good. I can be picky when it comes to lip products, mainly about color and this one is perfect. It’s the perfect shade of nude pink without being too pinky. I also have the lipstick and love that too.

Anastasia Brow Wiz

8 – I think this brow pencil is everyone’s favorite. If you haven’t tried it, you should. I love the fine point and the brush on the end. My eyebrows are micro-bladed but I still need a touch up when I have makeup on and this is my go to.

Anastasia Dipbrow

9 – If I am going all out with a full face I prefer something a little more shall we say intense for the eyebrows and this is it. I love this Dipbrow. One jar will last you a lifetime…lol, but it’s great if you want a little more pigment or control on the final look of the brows. It does take me a little longer to do my brows on days I use this but I am okay with that.

Becca Highlighter

10 – Champagne pop has been my go to since it launched a while back. With that said, I don’t use it as a typical highlighter. This is what I use to highlight my cupids bow and the corner of my inner eye. I just like a little extra pop in those areas. This one is the perfect shade.

Urban Decay Lipgloss

11 – Remember when I said I can be picky when it comes to lip products. This lipgloss in FUEL is so good. It’s a great shade, the formula is nice. It’s a little thicker than most which I honestly prefer. If you’re looking for an everyday shade and formula. You will love this one.

La Mer Foundation

12 – I know, I know. Another pricey foundation but these two are my favorites. I love the formula of this one. It’s another lightweight buildable formula but it’s so nourishing to the skin. It also comes with a pump which is a must for me when it comes to foundation. If you don’t mind a little splurge from time to time, this is a good one to try.

Beauty Blender

13 – Speaking of foundation this has been my go to for years to apply my foundation. I recently added a new foundation brush to my collection that I am loving but I will share more on that later. You can always guarantee a great finish when you use a beauty blender, so these are always a must for me to stock up on and have on hand.

TooFaced Bronzer

14 – I’d say bronzer is one of my favorite steps when it comes to makeup, contour and bronzer. It just warms up the skin and makes you feel finished. This is hands down my favorite bronzer, that I’ve tried so far. The formula blends well, the color is great and it smells like chocolate. Win win!

Chanel Cream Bronzer

15 – Another great bronzer but in a cream formula is this one. If I am not in the mood for makeup or I just want a quick look this one is great. I also love layering it if I want a more dramatic look. It’s creamy and blends really well but dries down perfectly

So, that is basically my go to makeup for my everyday makeup routine. I love that I can get everything directly from Nordstrom. Y’all know they are my go to when it comes to fashion, well they’ve become my go to for beauty as well. They have all the brands I’ve been buying for years and so many more to try.

Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring today’s post.

xoxoAmanda
